Her expertise covers brand building, digital campaigns, and content marketing, enabling her to craft effective strategies focused on self-sufficiency and brand expansion. Petra believes in finding the right combination of tools and approaches to support brand growth and global reach.

She has worked on high-impact projects, including Semantic Visions and FLOWBOX, where she shaped marketing, brand positioning, and visual identity. Additionally, she played a key role in establishing the brand and digital presence of the Prague Innovation Institute. She also worked as a marketing manager for the Czech company Scio, where she led marketing for individual clients and designed several products and the company’s online presence.

Petra seamlessly integrates graphic design and marketing into a results-driven approach. Her multidisciplinary expertise in design, marketing, strategy, PR, copywriting, and branding allows her to build cohesive and impactful narratives that resonate across European and U.S. markets.

Ilona Žďárská is responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of all activities within Luminova Ventures, managing the fund’s operational framework, strategic planning, and day-to-day coordination. Her role bridges investment execution, internal processes, and cross-functional collaboration to maintain efficiency and alignment across the fund’s initiatives.

With a strong background in operations management and strategic leadership, Ilona brings a structured yet dynamic approach to scaling the fund’s activities. Her expertise in project coordination, stakeholder management, and process optimization ensures that Luminova operates seamlessly while adapting to evolving market demands.

Having spent years managing financial and operational processes at Behind Inventions and previously at various non-banking financial institutions, Petr brings deep expertise in optimizing financial workflows, and ensuring smooth back-office operations. Ethan is an incoming graduate from the University of St Andrews, who is driven by his passion for early-stage startups and their transformative potential. Eager to begin his professional journey, he looks forward to joining the Luminova Ventures team as a Business Analyst, where he can expand his skill set and maximise all learning opportunities.

Raul is responsible for representing Luminova Ventures in Spain and Latin America, focusing on business development, investor relations, and expanding the fund’s presence in key international markets. With extensive experience in cross-border investments and a deep understanding of the Spanish-speaking financial ecosystem, he plays a vital role in identifying opportunities and fostering strategic partnerships.

His expertise lies in building strong relationships with investors, government institutions, and industry leaders to support Luminova’s growth in these regions. Jan Balatka is a technology-driven strategist specializing in AI, data analytics, and cyber risk management. With 18 years of experience at Deloitte, Jan held leadership roles in Analytics, AI, and eDiscovery, overseeing projects across Central Europe, Switzerland, Canada, and Germany. He played a key role in developing strategic alliances with major corporations, startups, and technology providers, shaping the adoption of AI and machine learning solutions.

Now also serving as Managing Director at Semantic Visions, Jan leverages his expertise to drive AI-powered risk intelligence and data analytics. His deep understanding of emerging technologies and strategic foresight make him a key player in shaping the future of AI-driven business solutions.

Pavel Heczko is a seasoned strategist and investor specializing in business scaling, digital transformation, AI, big data analytics, and M&A strategy. As a partner at Behind Inventions, he leverages his extensive experience to drive investments in high-potential tech companies with global ambitions.

With leadership roles at ČSOB, KBC, EY, and ING, Pavel has built a strong track record in corporate strategy, post-merger integration, and financial services innovation across multiple international markets. Olga Chabr Grillová is a visionary entrepreneur and investor, shaping the future of AI, fintech, and real estate innovation. She also serves as an independent board member of KBC Group, one of Europe’s leading financial institutions.

Before stepping into the world of venture capital, Diana spent nearly 26 years at Deloitte, rising from an entry-level role to Managing Partner of Deloitte Czech Republic and later Chief Strategic Officer for Deloitte Europe. She played a key role in shaping corporate strategies, fostering innovation, and driving digital transformation. Recognized as one of the most influential women in Czech business, she has been repeatedly featured in Forbes’ list of the most powerful women in the Czech Republic and was named Manager of the Year (2022) and Most Successful Woman in Consulting (2023) by CEO Magazine.
